Odendaal optimistic
by Athenkosi Tsotsi
Bulls captain Burger Odendaal believes his side are close to finding the winning formula after their second defeat of the season against the Stormers.
Odendaal speaking to the media noted that the team in the locker room after the match at Newlands discussed their progress and what needs to be done to get back to winning ways.
"We just talked about it in the locker (getting back to winning ways), I think its marginal, I feel as if we could have easily got away with a win here tonight. We created a lot of opportunities, I do not know if the guys are over eager to get their names on the score board or we just lost our rhythm and shape sometimes. I think if we stick to our shape we will get some points on the board," said Odendaal.
The Bulls skipper believes that the upcoming by week will do them a lot of good.
"We got a by next week, I just want the guys to get away from rugby. But when we come back we set our goals and we just have to work hard again, we are two games down and we do not have any points, still a long road ahead of us," added Odendaal.
The Bulls will relish going back to Loftus after two consecutive away games both in Durban against the Sharks and recently in Cape Town against the Stormers. They will have three straight home game starting against the Blues on Saturday 22 February and then followed by matches against the Jaguares and Highlanders.
