The Bulls are rejuvenated after their bye week and look forward to returning to action at Loftus Versfeld when they face the Blues of New Zealand on Saturday.
Bulls head coach Pote Human when speaking to the media on Wednesday 19 February emphasised how his team have been working on their attack in order to get results.
"After the first two losses we worked very hard on our attack. We did not use our opportunities against the Sharks, we were there and we could have won the game; against the Stormers our forwards, who I thought played very well, we just could not convert our chances. That is something that really bothers the whole team, we really worked on that, converting, in the last two weeks, really hope it comes off on Saturday.
I'm very happy with where the players are, they are confident and looking forward to Saturday. We need points on the board, this is a must win," said Pote Human.
Human also touched on the usage of flyhalf Mannie Libbok, who has had to deputise on the bench with Morne Steyn ahead of him.
"Morne is still playing at ten, if it is raining on Saturday we will maybe use him a bit longer but we want to give Mannie Libbok more game time because he can open up the game in the second half. Mannie, he is just an awesome guy, his for the team first and then himself. I know her deserves a start at this stage, he knows he will get his chance in the next few weeks," added Human.
The side from Pretoria are yet to register a try in this Super Rugby season. Back trio of Warrick Gelant, Rosko Specman and Cornal Hendricks have been off form this season and are to kick on. Winger Cornal Hendrciks has produced two high profile blunders but his coach Pote Human insisted the player will rectify his mistakes this weekend and that his errors have not affected his mentally on or off the field.
Bulls captain Burger Odendaal is happy about the opportunity of returning to Loftus after the team traveled to Durban and Cape Town to play the Sharks and Stormers respectively in their opening two rounds.
"The team is really excited about being back at Loftus, its vital we get points at home. We did not get anything away from home, so we are a bit behind, we need to get the four points, if we get five it would be excellent," concluded Odendaal.
